How Chakku handles your data and what stays on your device.
Your files stay local
Chakku is built to process CSV, JSON, Markdown, and whiteboard files in your browser. The data tools do not upload your file contents to our servers for viewing, editing, profiling, charting, or conversion.
What runs on your device
When you open a file, parsing, filtering, charting, schema generation, and exports happen in your browser tab. Work may be saved locally in your browser depending on the tool.
What may leave your device
If you submit feedback, the message you write is sent to our team by email so we can read it. Analytics and performance monitoring may collect basic usage signals such as page views and web performance metrics. These services do not receive your uploaded file contents.
No account required
You can use Chakku without creating an account. We do not require sign-in for the core workbench tools.
